Something I really, really hate of prim babies and make me design the Tatu Baby, is their ability to write on chat messages like "I love you so much mom!", "I love you and daddy", etc...
Babies, especially newborns, don´t talk! and even less of them know how to write on open channel. Still a lot of babies on SL do that, and some parents love it and ask me that feature.
But hell, I´m just a creator and I can be wrong.
So leave your comment if you wish and I will think about it.
I'm not looking forward to talking babies and find it annonying too. If you do make this a feature, please make it optional.

ReplyDeleteno i don't think new borns should talk, coe yes.. and gergle and laugh . as they advance say for like six month mark they should perhaps dada mama could be perhaps be in the stats when they reach that level. hence growth
ReplyDeleteI think having babies talk in local just isn't right I like that they are like real babies. When people see my daughter they go wow she is so interactive. unlike the baby who just lays there and says cute things
ReplyDeleteto keep in mind that there are alot of parents who like the "talking babies" you should... but it should be something optional i mean if it isnt that difficult to accomodate why cut the sales? make it optional i say
ReplyDeletemaybe instead of saying it in local type it could just be sounds like the cries and the coos and gergles make it a sound affect that now and then they say mama or dada, our babies don't truly grow old enough to be talking long sentences anyway.

I agree with TC completely. If the write idea is optional, it could still be annoying to others around them depending on how the script is written. Think about how people feel about tummy talkers..some love them, others absolutely can't stand them because they spam local chat. However, I think that it would make more sense if it were more of a sound rather than actually written out and it would be acceptable to more people. We are talking about newborns and toddlers here. Fabulous idea TC kudos to you!
