Changes
Before this update the caring of the baby was greatly now brainer, keep everything up and the baby will grow. Now the center of attention is in the balance of what the baby needs. If for example, the baby is feed when he doesn’t have hunger, this will act negatively on his personality, and the baby´s growth.
The take to inventory button has been renamed to SAVE to explain better what it does.
You can now only feed the baby if you are wearing him. At least this will be true until the feeding chair is release.
A “HIDE DIAPER” button is added at the clothes menu, this will enable parents to hide the diaper under the clothes, but it will be actually there so it will prevent stealing other peoples diapers during baby parties.
Fixable baby position, now the position corrections of all poses are stored, so no matter the shape of your avi, you can correct the deviation for a natural look, and the position will be recalled on each baby animation. This way you don’t have to correct the position everytime you change the animation.
Bath change: Now the bath works by steps but is unable to reach a 100% hygiene. This is to reflect that even after a bath you need to change your baby and place a new diaper if you want to reach a 100% cleanness.
The TATU GUIDE has been rewritten. This controls the crawl and walk of the baby.
Short Sleeves: Now its possible for other builders to make short sleeves on their clothes and other clothes designs.
Illnes: Flu and other virus will populate SL, the number of virus is short and if the babies get them, it will affect the health and fun for some days till they develop antibodies (it´s not fun to be sick). Flu virus is a random event that won’t affect stage 0 babies and that can pass from one baby to another. The transmission is random and will affect more big children with low constitution. If you don’t want to roleplay the illness a medic kit should solve it.
It’s still possible to obtain personalities over 100, but it will be harder to maintain it on that way. Some parents can have a really rapid drop on the personality till they reach the balance between what the baby needs and what they give to them. Personalities over 100 are much easier to lose levels than lower ones. It can be frustrating at first but will bring equilibrium to the game. As babies with personalities over 150 where an overkill and taking away all the challenges. Thats why at the current time the current top value possible to achieve will be 120. So dont worry if you experience a sudent drop.

IMPORTANT
If you need to update more than one baby, you need 1 disc per baby and do it one at a time. Don´t try to update more than one at the same time. This time anyone can make the update and the family list won´t be lost anymore on each update.
After making the update, rez your baby again for him to load the personality.
Don´t try to update unborn babies or they will be lost or update from other version that 2.06. If you do, you can loose the baby´s personality or need a medic kit to heal him.
Plain and simple this is a horrible update, if there is no decline in sales and such I'd be surprised.

Cid thank you for giving us your sad feedback to how we feel about how this update will truly overall ruin the tatu baby fanbase. However, to base anything off a minority of opinions, and there really wasn't all to many in the beta to say yea hell no to this, is ludicrous to say the least.

Many told you the things wrong and why during the beta. They said it in chat with you online. We all have worked quite hard to get our babies to the stages they are. There are some who yes don't know how to properly care for their baby and are more worried about making the best parent list. You had parents in the beta who told you their babies stats went to -0-. This update is not a positive for Tatu, it is a huge mistake and needed more testing. Next time you do a beta please don't ask parents to use their baby, give them a test baby. This way you don't have upset parents. FYI a bath should get a baby 100% clean. This is a way to sell more diapers. You make $3042 per baby and I know you sell alot. Is it really neccessary to make more money on diapers?

I love my Tatu babies and enjoy the time I have with them. You are making it not be what it started out to be.
I'm sure you're getting a lot of these but my bab's humor wont increase. when it tries above the baby's head it says "unable to save personality" then in local it says D-Minuscula - Baby Acheron: Woops! - Your baby's humour has decrease to 64.

This was a mistake to let this out. My constitution dropped from 131 to 119. And now all her stats are at 0. I have no L's to fix this right now. And it shouldnt be my problem to fix it. I didnt spend all this money to have it go all done the drain.
ReplyDeleteCID, the beta test group was full of newbie moms, and you darned well knew it. One woman got her baby this past SATURDAY, and thought she had to sign up for the beta. And really, when you say that "too bad you didn´t give your feedbacks during the beta testing period," 1) I did and 2) Nobody knew the beta testing period would last less than two weeks!
ReplyDeleteI'm no longer complaining about needing diapers for baby to be clean. It prevents mass-care, and makes you some money (roughly 20 US cents per box). After all, you're not doing this for charity.
However, the multitude of complaints in Tatu Chat about babies refusing to eat or sleep once updated shows that the beta process was not nearly long or thorough enough. No news does not necessarily mean good news.
Also, I agree that betas should be done with temporary babies that YOU provide. You want this to be as realistic as possible. Would any parent in their right mind sign their baby up for a drug trial, where the side effects were unknown, when their kid is perfectly healthy?
Any why will you lose baby if it is not later than 2.06? I thought these 4000L babies came with lifetime updates.
ok i updated my baby and i do not like this new update. i only updated one of my three babies and his personality kept going down to where i would not even take him out any more. i sent a nc to the creator about it since i didnt know what to do and was afraid of my baby losing all of his personality and what do i get as a response? NOTHING! i finally got fed up waiting and put my baby back to 2.09
ReplyDeleteNow, i do like what the new update will bring except for the diapers, if the babies didnt need to be changed so much i wouldnt mind but all my babies will go through diapers like there is no tomorrow and i do not have that kind of L, so that part of the update i do not like.
Also i think you should put the 2.09 back on marketplace because the new mommies who get your baby are not going to like this update if it keeps putting the personality down not increasing at all. they will find it as a waste of money and time....then you lose potential customers.
next time you do a beta test maybe make sure the mommies have had their babies for a longer time so they know how to take care of the baby properly and do it for more then 2 weeks, maybe a few months or something to get all the bugs out.
Yes I wrote before but whatever they did they are screwing up. I updated last night and just alittle ago it said the version of my baby was 2.09 and the update came to me again. So I updated figuring he fixed it already. Well obvisouly the creator didnt. My baby went from 2.09 to 2.101 to 2.09 to 2.101 to 2.09.And her personality has dropped quite a few. I know I am updating her the right way. She is still dead. I am not responsible to buy First Aid kits for this problem. And I refuse to take my own L's to fix the creators problem. I hope this person fixes it or they lose me as a customer. I spent well over 3900L's on this baby and more(studio, clothes, and etc)

ReplyDeleteEFIMERO AKER, hasta hoy YO fui un gran promotor de comprar Baby Tatu y lo fui a pesar que nuestros primeros dos bebes en el transcurso de 2 años que tenemos con ellos han perdido en varias ocasiones todo su crecimiento "gracias" a tus actulizaciones, hasta hoy disfrutaba de sacar a mis bebes para estar con ellos ahora me da PANICO el sacarlos del inventario pensando en que nueva desagradable sorpresa me espera de tus "brillantes" actualizaciones, mencione 2 bebes pero en realidad tenemos 3 y cuando nos decidimos a tener el tercero no dudamos en que fuese Tatu, por favor Efimero deja de pensar como hacer mas lindens con los bebes que ya vendiste y piensa mejor como vender mas bebes mejorando la calidad de ellos, deja de vernos con un signo de L en la cara y deja de lucrar con nuestros sentimientos, devuelvenos la alegria de ser padres.
ReplyDeleteEfi, I want to mention an issue with the babies. Now that we have to have the babies in arms in order to feed them, we put them back on the ground to crawl and walk and play with others. However, the "save" button does not work when baby is in arms, so when we detach and rez baby on the ground, we often lose the work we've done cleaning and feeding and other car while baby was in arms. Can you please make an option so we can save the baby while he/she is in our arms, so we can pick up for a feed, then have them play and interact again?
ReplyDeleteAlso, it seems that babies cannot wear skirts when the baby's diaper is hidden. Are you doing anything to rectify this?
My baby does not degrees in tiredness, while it sleeps, it does not need a new diaper, it stays on 11, what the hell have you done to our babies?

ReplyDeleteI dont normally read the comments but ..wow!! I brought my baby because it was the most realistic baby in sl. It seem to me that he' trying to keep it that way. I agree I dont like some of the changes but oh well..its his creation. Some of you are just being rude. It's no one business what he makes off these babies. You wanted a realistic baby and just like real kids we're constanting spending money of them ..lol. So stop complaining and take care of your realistic fake baby. also the blog tell us what the updates are.. so if you dont like it then dont update your baby. I brought my baby almost a year ago when he aint do nothing but lay there like a fish out of the water kicking and looking around.. so I'm happy with the improvements one way or another.
